Experience new underwater adventures and enhance your scuba skills with the Advanced Open Water course, designed for certified Open Water divers looking to improve their abilities. Under the guidance of a professional instructor, you’ll make five dives, each focusing on a different specialty such as deep diving, underwater navigation, peak performance buoyancy, photography, and more—helping you build confidence and gain valuable experience.

What to expect
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed to enhance your diving skills and gain real experience through five Adventure Dives, including required deep diving and underwater navigation, plus three additional dives of your choice such as Peak Performance Buoyancy, Digital Underwater Photography, or Wreck Diving. With no exam and minimal studying, most of your time is spent diving. You’ll start by reading the manual or using PADI eLearning®, then answer a few knowledge questions and either practice skills in calm water or proceed directly to open water dives. Each Adventure Dive completed can count toward PADI specialty certifications. Divers aged 10 and up can choose from options like Fish Identification and Boat Diver, while those 12 and older can also access advanced dives such as Night Diver, Search and Recovery, and Deep Diver.
