Delayed Surface Marker Buoy CDMB Diver
For Experienced Diver (experience required)
The PADI Delayed Surface Marker Buoy (DSMB) Diver Specialty Course teaches divers how to safely and effectively deploy and use a DSMB, an essential tool for surfacing in open water, signaling boats, or marking location during drift dives. This skill is especially important when diving in busy boat areas, deep sites, or strong currents. The course includes two open water dives and requires participants to be certified as PADI Open Water Divers or hold an equivalent qualification.

Finally, you’ll complete four open water dives with an instructor, applying your skills while exploring underwater.
